We bought a house and found out we needed roof repairs and a new deck. We bought the house knowing it needed work so it wasn't a surprise. We decided to have the roof repairs done first. We really lucked out because we found the best roof contractors. Not only did they do the roof repairs quickly and effectively, but they were price friendly too. They then gave us a reference for the best deck contractors and they were right. The deck looked brand new when they got done with it. We were lucky to find the best deck contractors also.
