"I can't praise the windows from your company enough! The ultimate appreciation of the windows occurred the week of July 25, 2010. It was Sunday, a serious storm blew in late afternoon, and we lost power. There were trees and lines down everywhere, and approx. 300,000 people without power. The air condition in my building (University Towers), was out until Thursday July 29, 2010. I saw people pack up and temporarily move out, not just because there was no electricity, but because they couldn't take the 90+ degree heat we had to endure.
On Tuesday, the electricity was partially restored, but not the power
to the air conditioning. When I left for work in the mornings the halls were
hot, the elevators and the lobby, while my condo was cool. People were looking to buy more fans and complaining to management about the unbearable heat. I was fortunate, those wonderful windows I bought from your company came to my rescue. Cool, I stayed cool the entire time! When I left my condo, I immediately
felt the heat in the hall and when I returned in the evening, it was cool when
I walked into my condo. The temperature didn't noticeably change until Thursday morning, when it seemed to be a bit warmer when I got up. The electricity was restored on the afternoon of July 29, 2010.
I have installed plantation shutters, remodeled my kitchen and had my walk-in closet customized. My favorite home improvement, I believe will always be the new windows I bought from Wheaton Door & Windows Co. I forgot to mention your staff, everyone I've had to work with have been kind, considerate, professional, and very service oriented. Thanks again."
